Tam Vong bamboo is native bamboo from South East Asia, also known as Calcutta bamboo or iron bamboo.

Solid bamboo is heavy and the wall is so thick the bamboo is name solid bamboo almost it still have a tiny hollow core in the middle. These bamboo have been used for many centuries to make furniture and building houses. They can be worked like timber but harder and stronger then normal hard wood.
