The Kenninjigaki bamboo fence is one of the most popular and widely used privacy bamboo fencing in Japan, they are also commonly used in the Japanese garden. This stockade style fence panel is constructed with machined bamboo planks, the full length of the bamboo planks used are uniformed and even, making a solid wall of bamboo fence with no gaps in between. Bamboo planks are installed on both sides of the panel over cedar wood stringers, providing an insulating gap in between. These stockade style panels provide an absolutely safe privacy bamboo fence unlike any other fence in the market. Since they are built exactly the same way on both sides it makes them a neighbor friendly fence. They also make great noise barriers.

The structural wood frame holding the fence is constructed with mortise-and-tenon joint and secured with wood screws. For further protection from the outdoor elements, we use the traditional Japanese way to carbonized the wood so they remain dark brown in color with a finish.

Our 4'H x 4'W, 6'H x 4'W, 4'H x 6'W Kennijigaki fence panel is designed with 1.5" x 3.25" posts built in. These panels can be installed by securing them to the set in with the post in between.

Kennijigaki 6x6 and 6x7.5 bamboo fence panels KCBF series are designed with the extra 18" footing for implanting into the ground for permanent installation. You can adjust the height of these heavy commercial fences by depth of the footing implant during the installation. 4x4 posts comes separate from the panels, you can specifically center the posts, regular side post or the corner post to suit the design of your fencing. Extra fence post other than the ratio of three posts for the panels can be purchase separately.

Cedar wood framed are flame torch treated to provide extra outdoor protection as well as the antique dark brown color tone. No chemicals are used.
Can be easily set up with wood posts or other outdoor structure using screws or galvanized bolts and nuts.
