Do I need to place liners in the planters when we plant them?

The cedar or teak wood that we use to build our planters boxes are rot resistant so you can place the dirt compost and plant material directly into the box.

However a lot of people prefer to put in a layer of plastic liner in the planter to minimize the contact between the compost and the wood material used. We do recommend this procedure.
